PuzzleAI Raises KRW 12 Billion to Accelerate AI Voice Recognition Solutions
PuzzleAI, a South Korean AI voice recognition company, announced the successful completion of its Series B funding round, bringing its cumulative investment to KRW 12 billion (approximately USD 9.3 million). The round attracted participation from a broad range of financial and investment institutions, including Mirae Asset Venture Investment, Kyobo Securities, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, and POSCO Technology Investment, among others. The company's flagship product, VoiceEMR, is an AI-powered solution that converts medical professionals' speech into text for electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, reportedly achieving over 95% accuracy for complex medical terminology across more than ten clinical departments. Notably, PuzzleAI also launched VoiceENR, said to be the world's first voice recognition solution dedicated to nursing staff, which is reported to reduce nursing documentation workload by approximately half. According to the article, the company plans to expand its AI technology beyond healthcare into other industries and to pursue entry into global markets on the back of this latest investment.
