At K-Hospital Fair 2025, Puzzle AI unveiled a hands-free medical record solution that combines AR glasses and AI, presenting a new approach to clinical documentation for environments where hands cannot be used freely. Through this showcase, Puzzle AI demonstrated the potential of a next-generation medical workflow that connects real-time documentation, summarization, and EMR transmission in one seamless process.

Exhibition Showcase and Audience Response

Puzzle AI introduced the solution at K-Hospital Fair 2025, held at COEX in Seoul from September 17 to 19, 2025. The exhibition featured 257 companies, 478 booths, and 21,024 visitors, and Puzzle AI’s booth drew strong interest from attendees who wanted to experience this new technology firsthand, making the event a meaningful opportunity to gauge its potential for real-world clinical adoption.

AR-AI-Based Documentation Workflow

The solution combines AR glasses with AI technology so that clinicians can document conversations with patients using only their voice, review the content in real time on the display, and send it directly to the EMR system. It also supports voice-command-based saving, conversation summarization, and automatic generation of medical forms, expanding its role beyond simple speech recognition into a more complete documentation workflow.

Designed for Clinical Environments Where Hands-Free Operation Matters

Puzzle AI designed the solution with speaker separation and context understanding technology to improve both accuracy and practical usability in medical settings. It is especially suited for surgical and procedural environments where gloves and masks make keyboard input difficult, allowing clinicians to review records in subtitle-like form and issue commands without interrupting their work. For security, the system also incorporates an on-premise LLM architecture that can operate within the hospital’s internal network.

Expansion Plans and Market Opportunities

Puzzle AI plans to expand the solution beyond demand already identified in areas such as radiology and outpatient care to environments like operating rooms, where manual input is more restricted. According to the article, discussions are underway with Bundang Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital with the goal of deployment, while the company is also pursuing overseas expansion into markets such as the United States and Europe, as well as broader applications in fields including dentistry and Korean medicine.

Business Value and What Comes Next

This showcase was meaningful not only as a technology demonstration, but also as a clear example of how clinical documentation can become faster, more accurate, and less burdensome for healthcare professionals. Puzzle AI will continue to advance medical workflows that combine AR and AI agents, with the goal of helping clinicians focus more on patient care while improving productivity and documentation quality across healthcare settings.
