Puzzle AI (CEO Kim Yong-sik), a Korean company specializing in AI-powered voice recognition medical record solutions, has announced the completion of its generative AI chart solution tailored for clinics and hospitals, with a global debut planned at the 2024 Global Health Exhibition held in Saudi Arabia from October 22 to 24. According to the article, the solution runs stably on in-hospital servers and is built on the company's proprietary large language model (LLM) combined with curated medical data, enabling it to go beyond conventional voice recognition. Notably, physicians can reportedly generate SOAP charts (a standard medical documentation format covering Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan) entirely by voice—without touching a keyboard—while also receiving prescription recommendations and up-to-date clinical knowledge suggestions. This innovation is expected to significantly reduce the time spent on medical record documentation, allowing healthcare professionals to focus more on patient care. Puzzle AI, founded in 2018 by orthopedic surgeon and former Seoul St. Mary's Hospital director Professor Kim Yong-sik, is said to be leveraging this exhibition as a springboard for full-scale entry into the global healthcare market.
